About the Guide

Dan Cooley has printed the Mackinac Area Fun Guide for area visitors, the past 25 years. It is a treasure trove of information about the area, it's history and it's stories.  There are informative articles about the Mackinac Straits communities and games for the kids. Plus you will find things to do, places to stay and wonderful restaurants to eat at, all with varying prices to fit any budget!  The guide is free to visitors and can be found at over 150 locations in the northern lower peninsula and eastern upper peninsula of Michigan.  It is always changing and growing with the local community.
